Here at Maidstone Distillery, we place sustainability at the heart of all our working practices. We are passionately committed to promoting an eco-conscious way of enjoying life with our spirits. This World Earth Day we wanted to share some of our sustainability practices with you.

Championing Local Ingredients
Our fruit-infused Kipsi Rosé Gin features hand-picked Kentish morellos from a wonderful small-holding orchard run by local couple, Kevin and Julie.
All of the red fruits used to make Kipsi Rosé Gin are sourced from farms within 10 miles of the Distillery, helping us to reduce our carbon footprint at the same time as promoting local businesses.
Proudly Supporting Plantlife
We are proud to support wildplant conservation charity Plantlife. Our Ranscombe Wild Small Batch Gin is a celebration of the incredible work done by Plantlife, using hand-foraged botanicals from their flagship nature reserve at Ranscombe Farm in Kent.
£1.00 per 70cl bottle of Ranscombe Wild Small Batch Gin sold is paid to Plantlife International, a registered charity with number 1059559.
Bottle Refill Service
Did you know we offer a bottle refill service?
Bring your empty bottle back to the Distillery in Maidstone town-centre and our lovely team will refill your bottle for you, giving you £5 off the regular price of your favourite spirit.

100% Renewable Energy
We are proud to declare that Maidstone Distillery runs on 100% green energy.
It may be more expensive, but we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations to the absolute minimum, so you can enjoy our spirits knowing that you're making a thoughtful choice.
Paper-Based Packaging
All of our fine spirits are packed using the innovative Flexi-Hex plastic free packaging. This remarkably robust solution is made from recycled paper and is fully recyclable again at the end of use. What’s more, we can also proudly state that we do not use plastic based tapes, polystyrene or shrink wrap in any of our packaging – even our bottle seals are made from paper!
